    Collect plot geolocations

    Coordinates and boundaries land on the map as suppliers respond. Points or polygons, in the GeoJSON shape TRACES expects, validated as they arrive so problems surface early.

  4. 04 Screening

    Screen for deforestation with WHISP

    Every plot is checked with the FAO WHISP method: many public satellite datasets read together against the 31 December 2020 cutoff. Each plot comes back clear, needs review, or flagged.
